Check-in was frustrating, especially waiting for help with luggage!!! The lack of ensuite bathrooms was surprising for a place advertising luxury. Attention to detail in furniture and amenities could use improvement!!!

The pool area, with its unique arched stone cellars, offered a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it one of the highlights of my stay.
The dining experience was disappointing, particularly the restaurant offerings which felt overpriced for the quality served.

Impressive spa but dining lacks flair
The Royal Hainaut Spa & Resort Hotel exceeded my expectations with its grand, well-maintained decor. The pool area was a highlight, offering a tranquil escape from the bustling city, and the friendly staff made our experience even more enjoyable.
I was disappointed with the dining options. The quality of the food didn't match the high prices, and the service was less than ideal, which detracted from the otherwise wonderful stay. Getting the room service dialed in was a struggle too.

The Royal Hainaut Spa & Resort Hotel impressed me with its stunning architecture. The transformation of the 18th-century building into a modern spa hotel was remarkable. Spa facilities stood out. the pool area, with its arched stone cellars, provided a relaxing escape. I appreciated the spacious room, especially the comfortable beds and detailed finishes. the dining experience fell short. Breakfast was quite basic, akin to what you'd expect at a budget hotel, lacking any special touches. On the second evening, I dined in the room with food from outside since I felt the restaurant's prices didn't match the quality. I was also surprised by the room's layout. one bedroom had a shower with no door separating it from the space. Lastly, the initial check-in process could use better organization, as I waited longer than expected. Despite these hiccups, the overall experience was pleasurable.

The hotel is located conveniently close to the town center, making it easy to explore local sights. The spa facilities are impressive and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day. The ambiance in the common areas is inviting, perfect for socializing or just enjoying a quiet moment.
Staff responsiveness could be improved, particularly during peak check-in times.

The spa was absolutely lush, man! The royal signature massage was pure bliss. But the dining experience? A bit disappointing, especially for the price – could do with proper scran!

the royal hainaut spa & resort has a beautiful spa area offering a perfect escape. the pool is lovely, although crowded, and the hotel's historical architecture is stunning. we found the location central, making it easy to explore, even if finding a decent local restaurant was a challenge.
